Background of the Study

Affiliate marketing has emerged as a popular digital strategy for boosting revenue by leveraging partnerships with online influencers and content creators. In Kano, a lifestyle brand has implemented an affiliate marketing program that rewards partners for generating sales through their referral links. This study investigates how various affiliate marketing tactics—such as commission structures, promotional content, and tracking systems—affect revenue generation. The research examines the effectiveness of these tactics by analyzing sales data, conversion rates, and partner performance metrics (Bello, 2023). Additionally, the study explores the role of affiliate networks in expanding market reach and enhancing brand credibility. Challenges such as partner fraud, inconsistent messaging, and the complexity of performance tracking are also addressed. This study seeks to address these challenges by examining the specific tactics employed by a lifestyle brand and determining their effectiveness in driving revenue. The goal is to identify best practices and propose recommendations to overcome common challenges, ensuring that affiliate marketing efforts translate into sustainable revenue growth (Bello, 2024).
